This is the second pressing of Bear vs. Shark’s Right Now You’re In The Best Of Hands… For whatever reason Friction Records decided to do a small pressing the second go around with this album. The first pressing was limited to 1,000 total copies while the second press is limited to just 500 copies. The first press was pressed on four different colors, the second press only two. The vinyl only bonus tracks are found on both pressings.

The second press was pressed on purple/pink with white swirl limited to 500 copies and ultra clear limited to 500 copies as well. I don’t know what makes it “ultra clear,” but it looks the same as all the other clear records I have. I opted to go with the pink/purple with white swirl because I think it matches the artwork better. The first press was pressed on half green/half clear limited to 250 copies, half blue/half yellow limited to 250 copies, half brown/half white limited to 250 copies and black with white swirl limited to 250 copies.

In late 2011 a UK pressing was released by Big Scary Monsters featuring different, exclusive artwork. It was pressed on red and black haze vinyl limited to 250 copies, with each copy being hand numbered. After finally getting around to purchasing the record it came with a card saying there were actually 254 copies pressed due to overrun, so my copy is stupidly numbered 252/200 on the back of the jacket.

To help differentiate between the two pressings featured in the pictures below, the U.S. pressing is the one with the black cover and the UK pressing is the one with the brown cover.
