This is Circa Survive’s first release and even though it was their first release, it was the last to get pressed on vinyl at the time this was released. (Blue Sky Noise was pressed on vinyl, but it’s release date is later than The Inuit Sessions’)  There were only 1,000 copies of this EP pressed on pink vinyl for the first pressing, and since all of it fits on one side of a 12″, Equal Vision decided to have an etching on the b-side instead of just leaving it blank. I did my best to capture the etching with my camera, but it’s tough because the pink vinyl is so light the camera’s flash just reflects of it. The etching is the unique artwork, most likely down by Esao Andrews, of two creature type beings that resemble the style found on most of Circa Survive’s album art. In late 2013 Equal Vision re-pressed The Inuit Sessions.
