Never Take Friendship Personal was pressed on vinyl and released as a Record Store Day exclusive in 2012 along with Blueprints For The Black Market. 1,000 copies were pressed on black vinyl. It’s a shame they went with black as they could have done something nice with the color of the record that would match the artwork. A white with blue swirl or vice versa, or maybe baby blue. Hell, even white would be better.

the only release they’ve done color with is New Surrender, for whatever reason. The teal/orange 2xLP that release got is stunning too. was really bummed neither cities nor either of these two new ones got color wax

i don’t mind going with black for Cities or Blueprints because it does go with the artwork. but For NTFP going with a a color I mentioned should have been an obvious choice. T&N most likely cheaped out wanting to save money and just went with black. tehy did the same thing with the mae record that come out on RSD as well, and they color choices for that record were endless and could have come out looking very nice. also New Surrender is on green, not teal.
