Metroplex – Decade Diary

Decade Diary is Metroplex’s second album released back in 2010. I finally got around to picking up a copy from my local store not too long ago for $12. The double LP is housed in a thick gatefold jacket. The quality of this release is great all the way around. When you consider the poor quality you get on new LP’s that cost close to $20 this release looks even better, especially for a small indie label (Jump Start Records). It proves you can put out quality releases without gouging your customers/fans. Yes odds are my store marked this down, but if you buy this from the directly from the label it’s still only $15.

There were 500 copies of Decade Diary pressed, with LP 1 on red vinyl and LP 2 on blue vinyl. A download code is included and the vinyl version of the album comes with two bonus tracks, “Re-voltron” and “Liquid Sky.” The artwork on the back of the jacket is one of the best around; it’s pretty unique and clever.
