It only took _ years but someone decided it was a good idea to make a movie about the legendary punk club in New York Citty, CBCG. To be honest I didn’t see the movie but by all accounts it was terrible. I only bought the soundtrack to complete my Police collection. As an added bonus there is a solo song From Joey Ramone.

The first pressing was done as a double LP on pink vinyl, housed in a gatefold jacket. I would like to think this soundtrack is limited to some capacity, but at this point I doubt it. They used the standard marketing gimmicks like “limited” and “first pressing on colored vinyl” to drive up sales. Since the movie bombed there will probably only be one pressing of the soundtrack. It’s a shame such a legendary venue that hosted acts in their early days like the Ramones, Talking Heads, Patti Smith Group, The Police, Blondie, Misifits, Joan Jett And The Blackhearts and The B-52’s; then later hosting 80’s punk bands like Agnostic Front, Gorilla Biscuits, Cro-Mags, Youth Of Today and Sick Of It All had such a terrible movie made about it. It’s a shame for Alan Rickman, Malin Akerman, Stana Katic and Rupert Grint too, as the later should have stopped after Harry Potter.
