This Led Zeppelin bootleg is entitled Does Anyone Remember Hampton?. It was pressed on two confirmed colors; red and black. All known copies are hand numbered, with red copies being limited to 100 copies and black copies being limited to 200 copies. The hand numbering is done on a sticker that is affixed to the back of the jacket. The red copies have a red sticker and the black copies have a white sticker. This boot was done in Spain, so everything written on the stickers is in Spanish, however, everything on the jackets is written in English. Since it’s a boot, I’m not 100% sure if the red copies and black copies are each their own respective pressings.
The boot is taken from the band’s September 9, 1971 performance in Hampton Beach, Virginia, USA and features six songs. Here is the track listing:
- Immigrant Song
- Since I’ve Been Loving You
- Black Dog
- Stairway To Heaven
- Celebration Day
This is the worst sounding bootleg, and worst sounding record in my collection. I would not recommend spending money on this if you want an enjoyable listening experience. If you want it to add to your Led Zeppelin collection, go ahead, as it’s one of the rarer and more expensive Zeppelin boots out there. They can fetch upwards of $100 on ebay. To keep the negativity away in the comment section, I bought this for $20 at my local record store.
