Keeping with the tradition of having a Record Store Day (RSD) release, Bruce Springsteen released a 12” EP of previously unreleased songs entitled American Beauty. Breaking from tradition however, this marks the first time The Boss has released a 12”.

There were 7500 copies pressed, all on black vinyl. The EP includes four songs that were left of his latest album, High Hopes; “American Beauty,” “Mary Mary,” “Hurry Up Sundown” and “Hey Blue Eyes.” This was one of the easier to find RSD releases in 2014 since there were so many pressed. Usually Springsteen stuff flies off the shelves due to his popularity and flippers, but these can still be found in many record stores close to five months later.
