Let It Enfold You was pressed on two colors for the first pressing, white and red, both limited to 500 copies each. Red was a Hot Topic exclusive color while white was only sold through the band’s web store through Merchdirect. Rather than pre-ordering it and wind up spending more money on it through Merchdirect, I opted to wait and buy the record from Hot Topic on the record’s release date of May 15 2012.

Finally, every Thursday album has been pressed on vinyl. It was a long time coming, but A City By The Light Divided, the last hold out, was given the green light. The album was pressed as a double LP limited to 1,000 copies pressed on red/white/black swirl. The records come housed in a gatefold jacket and includes an insert. Many people seem to love the color, but I guess I’m in the minority thinking it is pretty ugly. There is just too much going on with three color swirls, especially this one. When all the colors mix you get some weird shades or an unintended ugly color because they all blend into one. On paper the colors and scheme chosen are the right choice, but the way the records came out leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.

The record was exclusively sold by Hot Topic, it was NOT released by Hot Topic as quite a few people tend to believe. Hot Topic is not a label (at least not yet), and as such A City By The Light Divided was released both on vinyl and every other format by Island/Universal.
